Which Teams To Bet On at the Club World Cup 2025
With a revamped format turning the Club World Cup into a full-scale tournament this summer, fans can look forward to an entertaining competition packed with elite clubs from across the globe, including European heavyweights like Real Madrid and Manchester City. Below, we’ve highlighted the three leading contenders in the outright winner odds market.
Real Madrid: 7/2
No club has dominated the Club World Cup quite like Real Madrid, with five titles to their name since they first lifted the trophy in 2014.
Despite winning the Champions League last season, Los Blancos have faced a more turbulent campaign this time around. They were knocked out of their beloved continental competition in the quarter-finals by Arsenal and suffered defeats to Barcelona in both the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup finals. Real Madrid will also be beginning a new era under Xabi Alonso who has replaced Brazil-bound Carlo Ancelotti.
Still, if history has taught us anything, it’s to never count out Real Madrid. With their pedigree on the world stage, they remain the current front-runners in the betting at 4/1. Plus, there’s no Barcelona to ruin their party.
Manchester City: 9/2
Manchester, like Real Madrid, have also endured a difficult campaign. English football’s all-conquering juggernauts have been way off it in the Premier League, were dumped out of the Champions League in the play-offs, and lost to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final.
That said, Pep Guardiola’s side will be determined to make up for the above disappointments by showcasing what they are really about in the Club World Cup. Having lifted the trophy in 2023, the Citizens know what it takes to win on the global stage and are likely to attract plenty of backers at 9/2.
Bayern Munich: 6/1
Bayern Munich round out the top three in the betting at 6/1, as they look to claim their third Club World Cup title, with their most recent success coming in 2020.
While the 2023/24 campaign brought a rare stumble in the Bundesliga, Bayern rebounded impressively to secure their 12th league title in 13 seasons.
With Harry Kane leading the line, one of the most prolific strikers in world football will be aiming to leave his mark on the club international stage and guide Bayern to more silverware this summer.
PSG: 8/1
PSG are one of the most in-form clubs in Europe right now with Luis Enrique's side striving towards a historic quadruple. Having already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title and both domestic cups, only the Champions League remains to complete their silverware sweep.

History tells us that UEFA clubs have dominated the FIFA Club World Cup, producing 14 winners from the 18 editions to date. The last 11 winners have all been from Europe, including Man City last time out, withpep Guardiola’s men beating Brazilian outfit Fluminense 4-0 in the Final.
The last non-European club winner dates back to 2012, when Brazil’s Corinthians triumphed over Chelsea, although it’s worth noting that that two of the last three Finals have gone to extra-time with Flamengo and Palmeiras pushing Liverpool and Chelsea all the way. Outside of Europe and South America, no other continental confederation has ever produced a winner.
As always, it’s worth doing some background research on the clubs you may be less familiar with.
