Manchester United are clearly enjoying their best moment of the season, even if several recent victories have been fortunate ones.
After overcoming Newcastle 3-2 when trailing 2-0 at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have recorded wins over Everton and Bournemouth in addition to drawing 2-2 at Chelsea, so they will go to Turin with some confidence.
It’s clearly a formidable task for them to be facing a Juventus side who are top of Serie A and among the favourites to win the Champions League this term, especially after being so inferior to them at Old Trafford.
Juve are already six points clear at the top of their domestic league and will be looking to effectively cement top spot in the Champions League group with a win in this clash, although they might not keep a clean sheet.
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have improved greatly this season and Mourinho has temporarily lost faith with Romelu Lukaku who was injured for the weekend clash against the Cherries after previously being dropped.
The defence remains a big issue and Bournemouth could have been out of sight before losing to United, with the visitors likely to be gallant losers before the prospect of facing Young Boys and Valencia to determine who goes through with Juve.
