ITV have some thinking to do when it comes to X Factor, with one singer currently stealing the show and Dalton Harris has gone from even money to 4/6 in the past week.
William Hill are one of the firms who have chalked up that price, meaning that you would have to stake £60 in order to land a return of £100 on a performer that has captured the judges’ hearts.
This means that Harris is highly likely to win the entertainment show, with every performance continuing to be bang on and it’s hard to see who can stop him right now.
The only danger is that the youngster has peaked too early in the competition and it’s noticeable that Scarlett Lee has shortened in the X Factor betting, with the singer picking up popularity in recent weeks.
Anthony Russell is trading at a similar price and William Hill have 7/1 that the scouser lands the spoils, with a place in the final certainly up for grabs.
Shan is a touch shorter at 11/2 and will also hope to feature at the business end of the competition, although it’s Harris who is featuring in the download chart every week and it won’t have escaped Simon Cowell’s attention.
There are ten acts left in the competition and A Star are 2/1 to bow out at this juncture, with Danny Tetley trading at 7/2 and it could be down to these two acts.
Giovanni Spano will hope to survive a couple of weeks yet and he’s 4/1 on the Next Elimination market, while Misunderstood are trading at 5/1 and they are a group who will simply hope to be the last standing in their particular category.
