Boxing Day Premier League betting preview and tips

There are nine Boxing Day matches in the Premier League including Brighton v Arsenal and Watford v Chelsea

Boxing Day is a huge day for sport and betting. Some might say it’s better than Christmas Day and there are some fantastic matches in the offing.

Fulham 12:30 Wolverhampton Wanderers

An intriguing clash at Craven Cottage and we’re backing a high-scoring encounter, with Fulham incapable of a clean sheet and Wolves not to be altogether trusted for a fixture which they lost in the Championship last season.

Both teams to score @ 4/5 with William Hill

Burnley 15:00 Everton

We can’t really have Everton at odds-on and would rather plump for the draw considering Burnley know how to scrap it out at Turf Moor against a Toffees side with just one home win on the board thus far.

Crystal Palace 15:00 Cardiff City

Palace have won their past two home matches and we think they can make it three on the bounce against a Cardiff side who only have a point on their travels.

Leicester City 15:00 Manchester City

Manchester City can continue their winning habit although they might rotate players for this encounter and we can see the Foxes nabbing at least one goal along the way.

Liverpool 15:00 Newcastle United

Liverpool will want to get the job done although Newcastle might be stubborn opponents who need grinding down. Rafael Benitez will have a plan to keep things tight and try to nick a point.

Manchester United 15:00 Huddersfield Town

Manchester United no longer have Jose Mourinho holding them back although we think that the Terriers might put up a good fight for long periods of the match.

Tottenham Hotspur 15:00 AFC Bournemouth

Spurs look capable of winning this match with something to spare considering their squad depth compared to a Bournemouth side who have spluttered a few times on the road in recent matches.

Tottenham -1.5 @ 15/14 with William Hill

Brighton & Hove Albion 17:15 Arsenal

We’re not confident that Arsenal will get over the line in this clash and would prefer to back the 5/2 about this clash ending all square, especially with Brighton putting up a good fight at home.

Draw @ 5/2 with William Hill

Watford 19:30 Chelsea

We’re keen on the Hornets securing at least a point from this encounter and think they will work well against a Chelsea side who have wobbled on the road a few times this season.
