There’s little doubt over which is the most attractive FA Cup pairing for the fourth round, with Arsenal clashing with Manchester United and it’s little surprise that the game is being televised by the BBC on Friday night.
The Red Devils haven’t put a foot wrong since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge at Old Trafford and the Norwegian could well remain manager for longer than the originally agreed end-of-season departure, with players and supporters warming to someone who is rightly regarded as a club legend.
United’s 100% record under the former super-sub is certainly on the line with this trip to the Emirates beckoning, although there seems little reason to desert a team who keep winning for their new manager.
United continue to pass every test they are given and that included a recent trip to Wembley where they were able to fend off Tottenham and leave with a 1-0 victory which has helped them shuffle closer to the top four in the Premier League table.
Marcus Rashford is enjoying a rich vein of scoring form for United and he’s not the only player having a good time now that Jose Mourinho has left, with Paul Pogba in his element and Anthony Martial has just signed a new contract with the club.
Arsenal haven’t lost at home in the Premier League since the opening game of the season and recently enjoyed a 2-0 win over Chelsea at the Emirates, with the Gunners capable of looking very strong at home.
However, they are prone to defensive lapses and we think United can enjoy a victory in this game and continue their smooth progress under Solskjaer which could yet see them win the FA Cup this season and also qualify for the Champions League.
