It remains to be seen how much longer Jose Mourinho remains at Manchester United, although the writing looks to be forming on the wall.
The Red Devils have started the season with three unconvincing performances which have culminated in just one victory and two defeats, the latter of which was a 3-0 home reverse at the hands of Tottenham.
Mourinho is trading at odds-on when it comes to the Premier League Sack Race market, with Zinedine Zidane now the 5/2 favourite to become the next Manchester United manager.
Zidane had a highly successful stint with Real Madrid which ended recently, although whether the Frenchman would be prepared to try and revive the fortunes of United in England remains to be seen.
Antonio Conte is trading at 5/1 with Paddy Power and the Italian might be a better fit considering that he has experience when it comes to managing in the Premier League.
Indeed, Conte won the Premier League title during his first season in England and has therefore demonstrated an ability to get results quickly although there seems to be a defensive mess at Old Trafford.
Laurent Blanc is a former United player and he’s trading at 7/1 to replace Mourinho, while Mauricio Pochettino is available at 10/1 although whether the Argentine is prepared to swap his current Spurs position with the one at Old Trafford remains to be seen.
Leonardo Jardim is trading at 10/1 although Mourinho remains in charge of this Manchester United side for the time being and the board currently don’t see fit to change things at the top.
