David Wagner did a tremendous job getting Huddersfield promoted and then keeping them in the Premier League, although this season it appears as though the Terriers will be returning to the Championship.
Recent results have seen them cut adrift at the foot of the table and Wagner is now the 1/4 favourite with William Hill to become the next Premier League manager to lose their job.
It would appear that Wagner might actually stand down at the John Smith’s Stadium rather than be sacked, although the team’s failure to win at Cardiff on Saturday means that Huddersfield are eight points adrift of safety.
If Wagner manages to keep his position for the next two weeks, then perhaps it will be Claude Puel who goes ahead of him, with the Leicester manager seemingly on a hiding to nothing at the King Power Stadium.
Despite the Foxes sitting eighth in the Premier League, Paddy Power have the Frenchman at 10/3 to lose his job next and it appears as though Leicester are looking elsewhere in terms of a new manager.
Every other manager is trading at 33/1 or bigger, so it’s a question of whether Wagner or Puel will leave their respective post first.
